You set your own response time expectations (for example, "within 24 hours" or "within 48 hours"). Patients see this when submitting their consultation. There’s no penalty for taking longer, but faster responses typically convert better.

Photo consultations are best used for triage, guidance, and preliminary assessment not definitive diagnosis. Your response should clarify that a full clinical examination is required for diagnosis. Most providers frame responses as: "Based on what I can see, I recommend..."

You can request additional photos directly through the platform. The patient receives a notification to resubmit improved images. If you charged for the consultation, you may still provide guidance or apply the fee toward an in-person visit.

Yes. All photos are transmitted and stored using encryption. We provide a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA), and full audit trails are maintained for compliance.
